As with any project of this size, challenges during the design phase are inevitable. The location of the column fills on site and lateral bracing of the building due to the timber beam design provided ample opportunities for innovative and thoughtful engineering process during the design concept phase. The project was a great success in its provision of innovative and value driven design for ALDI. Intrax, together with our project partners, delivered a tailored, low cost design that also carries a remarkably fast 3-month construction time frame.
